Armenian Jewellers Association (AJA)
Pan-Armenian professional network of jewelers
The Armenian Jewellers Association formed in 1997, following Vartkess Knadjian's early visits to post-Soviet Armenia — first meetings in Yerevan, then a formal launch in Basel — as the first pan-Armenian professional trade association of jewelers.
It maintains regional committees across the United States, Russia, Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia, South America and Australia, and organizes the Yerevan Show trade exhibition at the Meridian Free Economic Zone.
Its educational work includes young-designer showcases at GemGenève and a partnership with the TUMO after-school program bringing jewelry and gemmology into the curriculum. The association's own domain is not linked here: at verification it served only a placeholder.
