The association's East Coast chapter was established on September 22, 1999 at the Diamond Dealers Club on 47th Street, with seventy founding members drawn from the Jewelers Exchange and greater New York.
Based in Manhattan's Diamond District, it is a registered US trade association that runs gatherings, educational workshops, exhibitions and trade-show participation to document and sustain Armenian jewelry craftsmanship on the East Coast.
