Avant-garde hand and body jewellery in diamonds
Yeprem was founded in Beirut in 1964 by Yeprem Chakardemian, of Armenian descent, beginning as a small family jewelry workshop; press traces the house's origin story to a gold bracelet given to the founder by his mother.
The second generation — Virna, Loutfic and John Chakardemian — joined from 2000 and redirected the house toward sculptural hand and body jewellery in diamonds, of which the handpiece known as The Claw is the most documented example.
Press describes the design language as a combination of Armenian heritage and a Lebanese upbringing; the house's heritage facts rest on press coverage rather than its own site, and are cited accordingly.
